Don't miss Edge of Soul at the Crown Jan. 8th, the first local show for the band! Also, Edge of Soul will be at the Legion Post 6 in Cheyenne, Jan. 22nd, performing at a benifit to support the buisnessess of the downtown fire. Plaese come out to support the cause!

The Benifit at the Post 6 was changed to Feb. 11th at the Depot.Edge of Soul will not there as Brian has a pryor engagement at the Central Lounge. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Also thanks to the Eagle Tribune for the great story in Friday the 21st What's Up? paper!

The Central Lounge will be having live music every Saturday starting this weekend, from 7pm-11pm. With this addition the Central now has live music five nights a week! Brian is still there Tuesday's through Friday's and will be there from time to time on Saturday's (Check dates page). Jack and Margie Kelly and friends will kick things off this Saturday, March 12th!

As most of you know Jim Kirk, our keyboard player in Edge of Soul, has just left for Iraq. He will be returning to his new wife, Jamie, (congratulations! check pics page for photos of the wedding.) early this summer. He will be greatly missed during his months of departure as he is a super musician and a great friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and all the men and women in uniform. We love ya bro, see you soon!

Thanks to the Tribune Eagle for the article about the local blues scene. Edge of Soul will not be at the New Plantation in Evens, CO Feb. 24th and 25th, sorry for any inconvenience. Jim Kirk is doing good and is expected home in the later part of June.

Brain and Gary will be filling in for Mark "The Shark" Langer with members of his band Mr. Coffee. Mark will be in the U.A.E until Jan. of 07. Chris Chimick and Pat Martin will be forming Another Fine Mess with Brian and Gary. They will pick up the Blues for Mr. Coffee until Marks return. Don't miss the first show April 29th at the Crown Bar. Brian has begun recording his new CD. It will include electric and acoustic songs, possibly a double CD set. New tunes and some new versions of old selections such as "Dealer's Gold" and "Through the Rain" will be included. plans are in the works for a fall release date.

We are very happy to announce that Jim is home! He's doing great and has already joined Edge for a couple shows. His arrival is a great relief and we are honored to have him home and playin'!

News is they have sold the liquor license and the motel will more than likely be closing as well. Keep looking at the calendar pages to see new dates!

Thanks for all the support! Things have been going great and we are all looking forward to the summer. Some new venues and projects are in the works. A musical written around songs from the new CD will be scripted this summer and performed in the fall. It will be done through the Arts department at the Laramie County Community College. Gigs have been put on hold for the next few weeks or so, check the dates page for schedules.

I'm sure everyone is ready for warm weather and some outdoor tunes! July 1st Edge of Soul will be at the Mishawaka with Avenue and Hard Times. Tickets are on sale now for $5. send an email to reserve tickets or they are available at all shows. Check the dates page for the new summer schedule. Edge of Soul will be at the Depot Downtown July 20th at 5:00pm and Playing at the Street Dance this year. Another Fine Mess will at the Depot July 24th. Thanks for a great summer! we all had a great time at all the Depot gigs and everything eles that has been going on.Thunder Mountain was a big success again this year for Edge of Soul. Heading into fall Another Fine Mess will be playing at the Crown on October 6th, then regrouping for a while. Pat Martin has moved to New Mexico to be with family. He will be greatly missed. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Pat!Laurie and I will be heading to Europe for a vacation in November. We are hooking up with Bryan Cox (remember him? Twisted Cain guitarist.)in Belgium. During our stay I'll be playing a show with him and his band "Shimmer" at the Brashuis in Molenbeersol, Belgium! Should be a great time!

Check the "dates" page for upcoming shows! Another fine Mess has regrouped with Mark Jones on Piano and Gary Hoem on bass. Chris Chimick is still on drums. Stop out to a show for some dirty Blues! Edge of Soul will be playing the Brew Fest this year on June 13th!

July is looking like a fun month for some outside shows in addition to the clubs. July 20th is the Mishawaka show. This must be the ninth or tenth year for this show. Tickets are $5 before the day of the show. You can pick them up at any of the dates or email me and I can hold them back. I'll be playing with Another Fine Mess and Edge of Soul this year. The 23rd is Cheyenne Day and Another Fine Mess will be at the Depot Plaza that night. Edge of Soul will be playing at the Street Dance at the Plaza on the 26th. If you feel like getting out of the heat stop by the Crown, Tuskers, Little Bear Inn, Midtown Tavern or The Wooden Keg! Have a great month! Peace, Brian
